Become a Volunteer Camp Counselor:
We are seeking bright, fun and caring adults who are looking for opportunities to work with children/teens who have experienced trauma in their young lives.
Corporate & Community Participant Engagement Opportunities
Host a Corporate Volunteer Day:
Opportunities include landscaping, refurbishing, serving a meal to campers while in session, pre- and post-session clean-ups and other special projects.
Become a Camp Hometown Heroes Ambassador:
Want a way to volunteer from wherever you are, even if you're not in Wisconsin? Help spread the word about camp by becoming an ambassador. You'll help by promoting camp on social media and creating your own fundraisers.

Promote the Toy Drive
- Set up your collection site – choose a visible, accessible spot for your collection bin.
- Have fun with your display – wrap a box/bin, personalize it for your location.
- Encourage participation and challenge your teammates/classmates/co-workers to donate a toy.
- Host a theme collection day – dress as your favorite childhood toy/character OR plan a group toy shopping outing!
After Collection - Toy Count & Drop-Off
After your collection, please count your amazing donation of toys.
Bring all donated toys (and total toy count number) to Kacmarcik Center.

Toy Drive FAQs
Where do all the toys collected go?
With the help of Hometown Heroes and the Salvation Army, all toys collected are distributed to children in need through 30 different charities serving children and families throughout Southeastern Wisconsin.
What kinds of toys does Kids2Kids accept?
Kids2Kids only accepts new and unwrapped toys for donation. The following lists are just some suggestions of toys for boys and girls:
Sports balls, Gym/Sports/School Bags, Portable Chargers, Bluetooth Speakers, Bikes, Handheld Games, Watches, Sunglasses, Wallets, Make-Up Sets, Helmets, Costumes, Jewelry, Headphones, Stuffed Animals
How can I receive toys from Kids2Kids?
Kids2Kids only collects toys and does not distribute any toys to individuals. However, we can get you in touch with the organizations where our toys end up! Try either of the phone numbers below for a direct line to the groups receiving our toys this holiday season. Contact us if you don’t live in Milwaukee, Ozaukee or Washington County.
