Power of Humans, Inc. is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors.

  1. Information Collected

    We collect and maintain the following types of donor information:

    1. Contact information (name, organization/company, complete address, phone number, email address).
    2. Donation information (amounts donated, date of donation(s), method of donation transaction and stimulus).
    3. Information concerning number of hours that volunteers have worked.
    4. Donor requests and donor comments.

  2. Information Usage

    Power of Humans, Inc. uses donor, camper and volunteer data to maintain record of donations received, send acknowledgements, provide tax statements, send newsletters and send additional communications and for internal marketing purposes only.

    1. We will add donor, camper and volunteer contact information to our internal communication management software for retention of information, unless you request otherwise.
    2. Power of Humans, Inc. does not use third-parties for any services.
    3. Power of Humans, Inc. does not list individuals' names in ANY publications.
    4. Corporate, foundation and individual donors are listed within the annual report and as part of event sponsorship collateral.
    5. Power of Humans, Inc. will obtain consent to publish written comments and letters to use for marketing purposes. All published statements will be posted anonymously.
    6. Credit card numbers are NOT retained once processed.
    7. The Power of Humans, Inc. website has an SSL certificate.
    8. Donations over 2% of the organization budget must be reported on IRS Form 990, Schedule B.

  3. No Sharing of Personal Information

    Power of Humans, Inc. will not sell, rent, trade or transfer personal information to outside organizations. Use of donor information will be limited to the internal purposes of the organization and only to further the mission of Power of Humans, Inc.
